Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older.

This coming year, on Friday, February 9, 2024, Night to Shine will celebrate its ninth anniversary as hundreds of churches and volunteers come together to honor thousands of guests with special needs. Our church is so excited to join other churches around the globe in hosting this unforgettable night!

FAQ's

WHAT ARE ALL OF THE WAYS TO SERVE AT NIGHT TO SHINE?
There are several ways to be involved for all personalities and passions!
Buddy Squad *18 and older (accompany guest throughout the night, provide assistance where needed)
Volunteer Support (Check In, Floaters)
Behind the Scenes (Set Up, Tear Down, Production)
Family Support (Respite room for parents and caregivers)
Facility Team (Safety/Medical, Parking, etc)
Event Staff (Details team, Giveaways, RedCarpet, Hair & Make Up, Shoe Shine, etc)
Donate -  services or financially

DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THE SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY?
Nope! No experience is necessary. We will provide training, all you need to have is a heart to serve!!

ARE THERE REQUIREMENTS TO SERVE?
Each volunteer is required to submit to a background check and attend one volunteer training.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT FOR SERVING?
We ask that all volunteers be 14 years old or older.
Serving requirements for all minors:
14-16 years old must be accompanied by parent/guardian
16-18 years old must have parent/guardian permission slip

IF I DONATE A SERVICE OR FINANCIALLY, CAN I RECEIVE A TAX WRITE OFF?
Yes, we can give you a giving statement and or in-kind letter
